After 20 minutes…

Ruhi was lying in the hospital bed, after a proper checkup, the doctor went outside to inform everyone that they can meet her.

Aahan was the first person to enter her ward. He saw Ruhi, lying there with her eyes closed.

Sensing someone’s presence around her, she opened her eyes to look at Aahan ,who was looking at her with his same handsome face. His eyes held many emotions which cannot be easily read by everyone.

“Khush ho “ Ruhi asked.

“Bahot “ Aahann replied and placed a kiss on her forehead.

“ Did you see our babies” Ruhi asked.

“ Bilkul tum par gaye hai” Aahan said with a smile.

“Kyun jhut bolte ho Aahann, ye baache Ruhi par nahi, apni Raavi maasi par gaye hai” Raavi entered the ward with the baby girl in her arms. Everyone else followed her inside.

“Why do you think that they look like you?” Anurag asked.

“Because during her pregnancy, I was the one most present person around her and it’s said that whoever’s face you see the most, the baby looks like them” Raavi gave her explanation.

“You mean that there is no role of Aahan’s and Ruhi’s genes “Anurag stated.

“Oh god anu, stop your questions now” Raavi said.

She went up to Ruhi and handed over the child to her.

Ruhi looked at the cute baby in her lap with love and kissed her forehead.

“She’s looking like a doll Aahan” Ruhi said.

“Lo bhai, ham sab to decide hi nahi kar paa rahe the ki ye kiski tarah dikhti hai . Ruhi bhabhi ne bta dia ki ye doll ki tarah dikhti hai” Maanav joked.

“Shut up maanav, kuch bhi bolta hai” Aarti ji said and playfully slapped him in the head.

“Ouch maa, lag gayi” he acted, and everyone laughed at his action.

Maa, ruhi called aarti ji.

Aarti ji looked at her and then tuned her face around to the other side.

“Mai kisi ki maa nahi, tmlog mujhe maa maante to itni badi baat nahi chupate mujhse, wo bhi itne lambe time tak. Itna sab kuch ho gya or kisi ne mujhe batana zaroori bhi nahi samjha” Aarti ji said showing her anger and disappointment.

Aahan ,Anurag, and Maanav approached her and hugged her together.

“We are sorry maa, we didn’t want to worry you, that’s why we didn’t inform you” Anurag said.

“How come do you think that my daughter-in-law’s pregnancy would have worried me.” She said.

“Sorry ma, please forgive your children. For your grandchildren’s sake, please” Manav said.

“Fine, but this is the last time.” She said.

“Thank you , you’re the best” Maanav said and kissed her cheeks.

“Enough buttering, now let me meet my daughter-in law.” She said.

She went to ruhi and kept her hand in her cheeks, asking, “how are you feeling Ruhi “.

“Relax maa, I’m so so happy today” ruhi said.

Aarti ji kissed her forehead and gave her a side hug.

“Aaise hi hamesha khush raho” aarti ji said.

“Hayee , kisi ki nazar na lage. THU-THU-THU” Anurag took off their evil eye.

“Chalo ab hm sabhi ghar chalte hai or babies ki Swagat ki taiyari bhi to karni hai” Maanav said.

Everyone said Aahan and Ruhi to take care and left them in the hospital, Anurag also stayed with them.

Ruhi was sleeping with the Babies on the crib and Aahan was sitting on the couch ,  busy on his phone.

He was deeply engrossed when one of the babies started crying  .

He quickly went to grip and saw his baby girl was crying, he picked her up in the lap and Starting pacing around in the room, trying to make her calm.

“ Sussh sussshhhh Princess.. please don’t  cry. Look we don’t  want to wake up Mumma. So please don’t  cry” he said mimicking in baby voice.

The girl became quite and started looking at Aahan’s  face, as if she was trying to understand Aahan’s  words.

“ Good girl” Aahan said with a smile and placed a kiss on her forehead.

After some time….

“ Now, I’m  placing you back in your bed, be a good girl and sleep peacefully “ he said and placed her back in the crib.

“Haassssh she is asleep, now I can relax.” Aahan said to himself and went back to couch.

Only 5 minutes had passed when another child started crying again.

Aahan  approached the crib; this time, it was not his daughter but his son crying.

He took him in his lap ,trying to calm him down.

Despite numerous efforts, the baby wouldn’t quiet down, and due to his crying, the baby girl also woke up and started crying.

The crying of both children woke up Ruhi as well.

Ruhi looked at his husband, trying to calm both the babies and her lips curled up in a cute smile.

“ Aahan, give them to me. They might be hungry, that’s  why they are crying “ She said.

Aahan handed the babies to Ruhi and after 15 minutes both of them went to deep sleep.

“ Thank god they are asleep, now I can relax” Aahan huffed while relaxing in the couch.

“ Aaj ek din me tumhari ye halat hai , aage kya hoga” Ruhi said.

“ I really don’t know, it’s  gonna be much difficult to handle them” Aahan said.

“ You rest for a while; otherwise, if these children wake up again, they won’t let us sleep.” Ruhi said.

“ No No, it’s alright “ Aahan said.

“ Aahan, I’m  looking after them, you take some sleep “ Ruhi said.

“hmm.. okay “ Aahan said.
